Domestic Violence Training

This course is open to Romanian and Eastern European women only and will teach you the dynamics of domestic abuse, and the laws in England and Wales regarding it. Learn how to support women and children who have been victims of domestic abuse, develop advocacy skills and assist with casework.


This programme is a 12-week course running from 9th March until 4th May 2021.  Alongside teaching you will have to complete 80 hours of volunteering during the 12 weeks (8 hours a week) It is imperative you attend all sessions of teaching

Time to Talk Day 2021 takes place on Thursday 4 February - join us to start conversations about mental health and help end the stigma


The Power of Small

A small conversation about mental health has the power to make a big difference.

We know that the more conversations we have, the more myths we can bust and barriers we can break down, helping to end the isolation, shame and worthlessness that too many of us with mental health problems are made to feel.

Hub Connections June 2020

Hub Connections took place on Thursday 4th June 2020, and the theme this time was the COVID-19 crisis. We heard how the council and the Barnet Wellbeing Service have adapted their services during lockdown and responded to the crisis. Wellbeing activities also took place, such as chair yoga and a Tai Chi session.
