Talking therapies involve talking to someone to help people explore, process, and manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. Talking therapies may also be referred to as; psychological therapies, counselling, psychotherapies.
Talking therapies provide you a space to speak to someone confidentially about anything that may be troubling you. Depending on your needs, your navigator may recommend for you to participate in talking therapy. This may be through counselling or short-term treatments and your navigator will help to make the appropriate referral for you to access the talking therapy service as soon as it is available.
